Initial Classmate Letter

 Hello Classmates of Charles E. Jordan Sr. High School Class of 1973!

Well believe it or not we are about to celebrate our 50th High School Reunion! WOW

This letter is to officially inform everyone that our 50th class reunion is scheduled for April 15, 2023 in Durham, NC.  The reunion committee has been busy for the past year planning and updating the Class roster to include as many classmates as we can find. We have a Facebook Group page, Charles E. Jordan High School Class of ’73-Durham NC which we hope that everyone will join.  Please let anyone you know to make sure that we have their updated email address. After the holidays we will be sending out an emailed invitation with all the details on how to purchase tickets and pertinent information.

We are planning a meet and greet Friday, 14th for those that come in early and want to meet and gather before the Saturday evening event.  On Saturday morning, we have a tour of the High School scheduled at 11AM. I understand some of our original desks are still there!  This should be a very nostalgic time for many of us. 

The Saturday night event will be held at Parizade a wonderful restaurant in downtown Durham.  It will be from 6-10:30 PM with appetizers, dinner and dessert and a cash bar.   We have private indoor and outside space for mingling, eating, drinking, and dancing while reconnecting with old friends.  We are planning a class group picture with a professional photographer. A music play list from our era will be playing both indoors and out so if you have a request of a favorite song not to miss please send it to us.  Otherwise 60’s and 70’s here we come!
